Senior Java Developer

CallidusCloud is now SAP Sales Cloud, part of the SAP Customer Experience division of SAP. We help sales teams sell faster and perform better, using AI-driven software that transforms your company’s lead-to-cash process. Our full suite of sales process tools includes sales automation, incentive management, Configure Price, Quote (CPQ), coaching and sales enablement.

The SAP Sales Cloud organization is dynamic, innovative, and growing! To support our global growth we are hiring a Senior Java Developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. You will be part of the team responsible for architecture, design, and implementation of new and existing backend services for our Sales Performance Management Suite. The position requires a self-motivated engineer who is eager to learn new technologies.

You will be part of a talented software team that works on CallidusCloud’s flagship Commissions product. You will be responsible for Java application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.

• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical.
• systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write clean, high-quality code and encourage others to do so through code reviews.
• Work in an innovative and agile development environment.
• Innovate by investigating alternative technologies and approaches.

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing Java backend services.

• Team player attitude with a willingness to lead when necessary.

• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps culture is a plus.

• Experience with writing unit tests, refactoring and writing clean code.

• Object-oriented analysis and design.

• Strong algorithm skills.

• Strong knowledge of Java internals (classloading, threads, memory, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
