    CallidusCloud is seeking a Director, Professional Services who will closely collaborate with Senior Leadership, ensuring practice strategies are effectively deployed; augmenting existing sales strategies with technical expertise; developing new and creative ways to drive revenue; and taking ownership of the Insurance practice revenue cycle.


    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record employing strong financial, business, and technical acumen to drive revenue and deliver financial results in line with business objectives.


    • Collaborate closely with Services Sales, Services Operations, and Finance to understand and drive revenue across the practice.
    • Participate as needed in proposal development, RFP responses, meetings, etc. serving as subject matter expert in all aspects of Revenue Accounting domain including technical accounting, revenue operations and revenue systems.
    • Track and manage key services metrics including billable utilization, client-facing utilization, backlog, burn rate, margin/project-level profitability, proportional performance, and weekly/quarterly forecasting.

    Travel 25-50%


    • Bachelors degree in Accounting / Finance required; Master’s degree preferred
    • 15+ years’ experience in the software industry, with at least 5 years of leading Services P&L
    • Expert level, comprehensive technical US GAAP knowledge related to software revenue recognition with aptitude for technical research and experience with complex revenue arrangements in a professional services setting.
    • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, collaborative and influencing skills.
    • Outstanding critical thinking and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail.
    • CPA preferred, but not required.
