CallidusCloud is looking for a self-starting Contracts Specialist to support the Global Contracts Department in negotiations and contract lifecycle processes across direct, OEM and reseller channels.  This position will be located in Dublin, CA. 

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will:

  • Assist in the review and negotiation of various commercial contracts. As you demonstrate growth in the role, you may take a more direct role in negotiating and closing deals. 
  • Quarterback the approvals of commercial terms, both to meet Revenue’s rules, but also to maintain Sales’ confidence that their business deadlines and needs are being conveyed and supported.
  • Assist in the documentation and creation of training material of the contract lifecycle workflows and department procedures. Requires the ability to learn systems and gather objectives from key company and acquired company stakeholders.
  • Own contract signature duties, such as obtaining “wet” signatures in HQ office for global attorneys, and implementing automated signature tool updates.
  • Manage comprehensive contract repository and generate reports as required.
  • Maintain and manage workflow of cross-functional programs, such as escrow, as needed.
  • Manage disciplined delivery of templates and policy updates across sales channels (direct, reseller, ISV) and go-to-market avenues (such as on-line marketplaces), under direction of department management.
  • Support and contribute to on-going legal department process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; J.D. is a plus.
  • 2+ years’ experience as a contracts paralegal with a fast-paced technology company or at a major law firm.
  • Self-driven, ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
