CallidusCloud is in search of a Vice President & General Manager to lead a key division in the company. This is a highly visible position that will be responsible for growing sales, services and ensuring customer success. This individual will  lead a motivated team that generates sales and implements the solutions all while ensuring a great customer experience.

 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, driven leader with a proven track record in software solution sales, experience selling Configure Price Quote (CPQ) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions, and experience managing a cross-functional team.  

 

This position will be located at our office in Dublin, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Support direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings, and engaging other corporate resources as required.
  • Ongoing mentoring and development of sales team including the recruitment, on-boarding and training of new Account Executives on the sales process
  • Conduct weekly forecast and project review meetings.
  • Report on all aspects of the business to senior management
  • Monitor the sales activity of the team, and tracking the results.
  • Grow and develop a team of qualified sales and sales development professionals with high potential and a proven track record of success
  • Expand professional services team in line with demand
  • Coach direct reports in sales and closure strategies, delivery strategies, pipeline management, opportunity management and career planning/development

Travel Expectations: up to 75%

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of software sales experience in an individual contributor and/or management role, including 2+ years of sales management experience.
  • Experience selling Configure Price Quote (CPQ), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software and other solutions.
  • Deep understanding of industry specific value proposition
  • Must be able to thrive in a very fast paced environment.
  • Ability to hire and train new Account Executives.
  • Executive level communication and sales skills
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles with C-level decision makers
  • Proven leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills
  • Excellent negotiation and sales skills.
