CallidusCloud is looking for a Corporate Senior Network Engineer to join our growing team in Dublin Office. This position has responsibility for the deployment, support and upgrade of LAN/WLAN/WAN, Datacenter and Global network for other worldwide locations. This position will review, plan, and evaluate network systems, may troubleshoot network systems and recommend improvements to the network.

Responsibilities

Responsible for people management of a team of 2-3 engineers, providing performance reviews, continual feedback, coaching and career growth for direct reports.
Be a hands on manager with deep technical experience in networking, systems and software.
Operate in a rapidly evolving environment, adapt quickly to new information, re-prioritize as needed.
Network architecture design and continuing improvement, installation and software version control/revision on all network equipment.
Install, configure and maintain Cisco networking hardware such as Cisco IOS, NXOS based Catalyst and Nexus and Meraki Switches, Meraki Wireless, Cisco Juniper SSL VPN, Palo Alto Firewalls and Global Protect VPN.
Ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance of network systems and services. Monitor performance and provide capacity analysis/planning and be able to be part of a 24x7x365 on call rotation.
Evaluate new technologies and support decision-making process and long-term technical direction.
Monitor, analyze, and report capacity of Network solution system utilization and perform growth analysis/capacity planning.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the basics behind the Internet and its workings (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP(S), VPN, etc.).
Maintain Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Wireless APs, Voice, Video, VPN and Security appliances for access to vital business applications.
Configuring and installing client and server network software for upgrading and maintaining network and telecommunication systems.
Maintaining multi-site network operations and software applications, operating systems and regular maintenance.
Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors and etc. to provide technical assistance and support.
Supervising the administration of systems and servers related network to ensure availability of services to authorized users.
 Troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and software applications, telephones and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Networking, System Administration or Software Engineering experience.
  • Strong fundamentals in networking protocols such as TCP/UDP, IP, ARP, ICMP, DNS, etc.
  • Understanding all aspects of networking infrastructure, including layer 2 and layer 3 switching, routing, internet connectivity, MPLS and IPSEC VPN.
  • CCNA and/or CCDA certification.
  • Knowledge of Palo Alto Networks, Cisco ASA, Meraki and Cisco Unified Communication Manager.
  • Understanding of Windows Server, Linux and VMware is a plus.
  • Knowledge of VoIP implementation and support.
  • Maintain network security through proper configuration of VPN and Firewalls.
  • Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Resolve issues and errors as instructed, in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Infosec Experience is a plus.
