We are looking for an Insurance Licensing Analyst to join our team!


The Analyst will obtain and maintain resident and non-resident insurance licenses for the following license types in compliance with the applicable state laws and insurance regulations: Producer, Agency, Third Party Administrator (TPA), Managing General Agent (MGA), etc.


  • Complete the required paper forms/applications, request checks, process online submissions, request additional documents as needed.
  • Register online agency accounts for filings, annual reports, EFT payments
  • Accurately and efficiently maintain and manage an assigned workload.
  • Data-entry of agency information into licensing tracking system.
  • Review, pull files and process license filing requirements from report(s).
  • Liaise with regulation entities such as legal, finance and leadership to gather the necessary documents to properly complete renewals, annual reports and various license and appointment filings.
  • Submit officer personal/agency confidential information changes to each state insurance department:
    • E&O information, Affidavits, Background Checks & Fingerprints
    • Agreements with carriers
    • Quarterly assessments fees and reports
  • Research and verify license status, affiliations and appointments.
  • Monitor and follow-up by email and/or telephone weekly on any outstanding issues with business units and state insurance departments
  • Review and approve weekly credit card transactions or other related fees.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of state insurance requirements and/or licensing a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) and Google Applications (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, etc)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions along with strong verbal and written skills
  • Ability to collaborate with co-workers, producers, clients and local office contacts while providing them with excellent support and assistance
  • Efficiently prioritize and plan work activities in a timely manner
