We are looking for a State Regulations Analyst to join our team!

 

The Analyst will track and maintain rules and regulations for state license and appointments requirements to obtain and maintain a resident or non-resident license as a producer, carrier or business entity.  When changes to regulations occur, Individual will be responsible for determining the applicability of changes to our systems and be able to work with other team members to manage and facilitate any actions required as a result of those changes to Callidus applications.

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain database and tools to support the tracking of the current license and appointment requirements with the assigned state(s).
  • Maintain and track renewal date, fees and information for the assigned state(s).
  • Coordinate a listing of collateral to satisfy requirements for producers to be properly licensed and appointed.
  • Accurately and efficiently maintain and manage an assigned workload.
  • Review, pull files and process license filing requirements from report(s).
  • Research and verify license status, affiliations and appointments for assigned carriers and producers.
  • Monitor and follow-up by email and/or telephone weekly on any outstanding issues with business units and state insurance departments.
  • Track changes to regulations and mange dissemination and actions related to those changes with other Callidus team members.
  • Maintain and develop criteria to determine alert strategy for various regulatory changes upon occurrence to include and Callidus or customer call trees.
  • Work with other team members to automate detection and dissemination of regulation changes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of state insurance requirements and/or licensing a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) and Google Applications (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, etc)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions along with strong verbal and written skills
  • Ability to collaborate with co-workers, producers, clients and local office contacts while providing them with excellent support and assistance
  • Efficiently prioritize and plan work activities in a timely manner
